Can you tell me whether there is a chance that the thoraxic spinal stenosis will dissapppear?

Question:
A friend of mine who has chronic Lyme for close to 25 years was diagnosed with thoraxic spinal cord stenosis. She is in pain al the time, can hardly walk , is in a wheelchair most of the time, and now has increasing difficulty speaking and breathing. She asked me to post a question to all of you . Does anybody know whether this could have been caused by the Lyme and if someone gets rid off the Lyme is there a chance that the stenosis will dissapppear?

We are very gratefull for any information concerning this. The prognosis so far is grim.

Answer:
I am amazed that someone with chronic Lyme for 25 years is still alive. And I am very sad that she has not been treated for it, nobody needs to have chronic Lyme for that long, but unfortunately in the Netherlands, MD's do not know how to treat Lyme. And yes, her sx. are most probably Lyme, when she has a diagnosed case of chronic Lyme for 25 years. Difficulty speaking and breathing is a sign that she might soon die if nothing is done about it. I recommend going to Austria, Switserland or Germany for treatment.
