I had the same thing happen to me last year. The pain was just unbearable.
My husband took me to the emergency room and I was in such agony - I said I
didn't care what they did as long as they gave me something for the pain
first. They thought I might have spinal meningitis and so they did a spinal
tap - but nothing. After they gave me the pain killers it started to get
better and the next day it was better and almost gone.
Thanks for your response. I wonder what causes this?
